What is a custom wig?
A custom wig is tailored to your specific head measurements to fit you comfortably. Custom wigs are not one size fits all. All of our custom units are made using the sewing machine.
What are the different types of wigs?
A CLOSURE unit has a small area of parting space, starting at 4x4".
A FRONTAL unit allows you to part anywhere from ear to ear going back to the crown of your head.
A FULL LACE unit allows you to part anywhere from front to back and you're able to put the hair into a high ponytail.
This is my first wig, what type of unit would you recommend for me?
I would recommend our Starter Wigs. These are closure wigs, which are less maintenance compared to a full lace or frontal wig.
Does my wig unit have to be glued down?
Not unless you'd like for it to be. Gluing it down or using adhesive is ideal for wearing your unit for a long time. You do have the option to take your unit off and on daily by only using the elastic band inside of the wig cap.
How long will my wig unit last?
With proper care, your wig unit will last you about 2+ years. The lace piece will need to be replaced every few months due to balding from wear and tear.
How do I measure my head?
Please watch this video! Measure each place at least 2 times to ensure each measurement is accurate as possible. It is very important that you take your time doing this. Your unit will be made according to the measurements you provide.
